As I dreamed my sabbatical into being, it included round-the-world stopovers with daughters and nieces.
The first segment was time with Katie and Steven in New Zealand. That wet and chilly chapter concluded last night when they dropped me at the airport. Another overnight flight and I am now one connection away from my nieces and nephew in Thailand.
Even though I am only days into the adventure, I can already tell you that the hellos are so sweet; the goodbyes are just as tender.
