As of today, Warthog and I have logged nearly 800 miles. The two of us {the camper van and I}
have crossed down into California and back again. I have visited 17 different church
communities along the way. {Though, in the case of six stops, I was unable to actually have a
conversation…either there was no one at the church or folks were too busy.}
I have heard so many stories or perhaps it is the same story.
No matter the corner of the state or the town, times have changed. Each community, each
congregation, by their actions or inactions will decide. Will they evolve as is appropriate for their
context or will they cease to be?
