Conversations from around the state…with pastors, retired pastors and lay folks too…but there are clearly themes. One of the often-repeated topics is change.
I have met very few people who love change. Given the opportunity, most of us run away instead of toward the idea. We grab. We cling. We bargain. We deny. We ignore. We get angry or sad or frustrated. Around and around we go until we are worn out or overcome.
Along this journey I have heard various chapters of this story as well as various outcomes.
As Easter People who believe in resurrection, might we learn to see change as hope? As life? As beautiful?
