Ordained in 1987, Bishop Dave Brauer-Rieke served as pastor at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Milton-Freewater from 1987-2005 and Atonement Lutheran, Newport, OR from 2005-2007. He began serving as bishop of the Oregon Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in 2007.
