Advent is a season of waiting and watching and getting ready; in 2020 we will be waiting and watching and getting ready in the very middle of a worldwide pandemic.
Waiting. And waiting.
Waiting to celebrate the birth of the Christ Child.
Waiting for Christ to return.
Waiting for a vaccine.
Waiting for the return of life-opportunities that we may have taken for granted.
Waiting. And waiting.
People get ready, Jesus is coming.
