Joy In The Wilderness

Musings and ponderings by Pastor Leah Stolte-Doerfler

Shining a light, pointing the way

In the middle of our hike up at Silver Falls, she pointed to a tree dripping with lichen. Look she said, nature's version of silly string. Yes indeed.

Today, I received an email from a wise and generous spirit and she spoke of things she had learned from our friend Jill. Yes indeed.

You who see, you who point, please know that you make a difference.

I miss Jill.....her wit, her heart, her generous spirit, her knowledge of everything that was going on...Doug called her “Mrs. Kravitz” but it was a loving nickname for a woman who was just plain easy to be around.
