Joy In The Wilderness

Musings and ponderings by Pastor Leah Stolte-Doerfler

Weather or not…

Earlier this week, the morning walk was such a 'baptism' that even my most inner layers were wet, wet, wet. This day, I actually got to pull out my sunglasses.

While my own preference is warm and sunny, rain or shine, we still walk.

During the Lenten Season, as we create space to consider our faith-journey, it is not hard to lay down the 'weather or not' comparison…there will be chapters that are easier to trust, hope, and even believe…even so, we have a God who shows up, rain or shine. That's the promise.

Friends, one foot in front of the other…and grab your sunglasses, just in case.

Splish, splashing!

Always try and stay with the positive no matter how hard. It takes less muscles to smile than to frown.
