To be fed…

What feeds you?

Perhaps the question spurs you to think of your favorite foods, as in feeding your body. On the other hand, maybe you went right to the things that restore your spirit. Both matter!

As we continue to unfold our Lenten theme, 'Why do we gather', last night we thought about gathering in order to be fed.

While the Word of God and the Sacraments are core to our Lutheran response, there was much conversation about the nourishment of simply being in community ~ energy, encouragement, strength, and the list went on.

I love that while we ask, 'Why do we gather', we keep discovering that being in community matters. A lot!

What feeds you? Your comfort foods? Nature? Travel? How about time among your siblings in Christ?
