Joy In The Wilderness

Musings and ponderings by Pastor Leah Stolte-Doerfler

Whoa!

End of the road.

No outlet.

Stop.

Ever feel that message in your spirit? Life? Work? Hopefulness?

But sometimes, as hard as it seems, it can be a life-giving-message. As in, 'enough already'. Or, 'danger ahead'. Or, 'find a different path'.

Even as I see the 'no outlet' sign, I hear the electronic voice of a long-outdated-GPS commanding me to, 'make a legal U-turn.'

As we continue our journey towards the cross, be reminded of the grace poured out in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Grace that transforms 'no outlets' into 'legal U-turns'.

Turn and return.

I believe God always allows uturns in the right conditions. He never fails us.
