Joy In The Wilderness
Wisdom out the window
This morning I checked in with a friend who lives out at the Oregon Coast. Before going deep, the conversation began with a weather report.
Looking out her westward facing window, she saw blue sky. The east facing window was overcast-gray. Immediately I knew I had a blog-thought: which window will we look out?
It is the same 'cup half full, cup half empty' concept.
Both are true.
Both are real.
When half full, the cup is indeed half empty.
While blue sky is on one horizon, storms are also raging.
Both are true.
Both are real.
But, where will we focus our attention? Where will we spin our imagination? Which will we draw our heart and soul energy from?
