Do you hear what I hear?

It seems to me that I usually hear the hummingbird zipping through the air before I actually see him. Once I hear his distinctive sound, I start watching. Where oh where might he be?

Let's be honest, I'm not seeing many of you these days but I am catching some snippets:

• How long until we gather again for worship?
• When will we be together?
• Thank you for staying the course.
• What will the church look like when we return?
• Who will be missing?

Not unlike the hummingbird, I can hear long before I can see ~ also known as, I just don't know. I wish that I had some clarity or answers but I don't. In all honesty, I wonder how many months or years it will take to determine the best course of action. You know, that hindsight thing…

Friends, keep praying for your Pastors and Church Leadership, that the Spirit will guide and we will have ears and eyes to perceive the call and be filled with the courage to follow.
