Joy In The Wilderness
What's for dinner?
Last night tamales were on our menu, tamales built and sold by the developing Latino Ministry here at Immanuel. Tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chili rellenos, fajitas were my go-to-options when dinning at Mexican restaurants. Tamales are new to me and I give hearty thumbs up to the version that Berta and crew have created.
We have a couple of weeks of 2020 left. Beyond that, we have a few months before a vaccine will be widely enough distributed to provide ample protection. Which is to say, we still have time ~ what fun or creative or different might we try as we wait?
*Recipes or foods another cultures? Tamales?
*Yoga?
*Start a new book series?
*Learn a new skill?
*Journaling?
*Jump into an art area that you have yet to explore?
Whether you are energized or weary, friends we are closer than we once were; with eyes on the prize and confidence in the One who always walks with us, we continue to put one foot in front of the other.
Praying joy upon you.
Pastor Leah
